When the new patch does come around, should I be speccing out of Master Shapeshifter and into iMotW or keep both? I don't mind dropping Feral Instinct and Feral Swiftness since neither do much for raiding. I've also been thinking about speccing into Nurturing Instinct. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
Drop the 2 points from Furor to gain iMotW. This should mean that by the time you can do anything in cat form, you'll have 70 (or is it 75) energy. (75 if the GCD from shifting to cat is 1.5s, can't remember if the cat GCD applies to that shift) - and if you're raiding you're unlikely to be shifting in and out too much.
Popping some into Nurturing Instinct will lessen the load on the raid-healers, and improve your own emergency tranquiliity casts - whether you need that is your own call really.

Any suggestions for the gear/enchants, spec or how a rotation should go would be wonderful!
WoW Armory:
http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Dark+Iron&n=Caoilinn
If you really never tank then you don't need 3/3 Thick Hide so I'd drop it and grab Survival Instincts (it's a nice emergency button if you pull aggro) and Nurturing Instinct 2/2. I think NI is a fairly weak talent but you have the points and you are pure cat and it does help, so grab it. Post-patch, when you'll want the new talent take one point out of NI to get it.
Also, like Rakanik says, drop 2 points of Furor and get Improved MotW. The 5th point of Furor is utterly useless as a cat (you regen to 95 energy before the GCD is up when you shift cat, even without it) and the 4th is close to useless. Also, post-patch IMotW will add 2% to all your stats and become even more of a good idea.
Finally, if you never tank you're a naughty feral, for shame!

I've tanked since day one and have tried my hand in DPS recently, although my gear is crap i'm hitting top 3 in our raids.
I'm currently in my DPS set:
http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Aggramar&cn=Morghan&gn=The+Committed
Any quick and easy upgrade suggestions would be nice, but my main question is regarding Hit and Expertise, I have the
[Gored Hide Legguards]
chanted with the Stam/Agility for my tank set and last night rolled and won
[Leggings of Discord]
but I only have 208 hit as it is in Kitty gear and 21 expertise (94 rating, and 10 from talents) Would losing the hit from my current legs for the expertise be a smart thing to do, especially since i can toss the proper leg patch on the new legs.

your current gear on armory shows that you have 262 hit rating with 263 being the cap id say u can lose the hit rating. With most raid groups having at least one draeni then you are covered. on the other hand u have next to no expertise which i suggest you get caught up on immediately. some suggestions are use accurate monarch topazes they contain hit and expertise so u can reach both caps efficently.

The easy things to get are Trinket and Neck from Heroic badges. The next thing you need is a Head slot item with Meta Gem.

yes you are correct with the hit caps. However i dont think you should have bought those. With ulduar out gear is a lot better than what you purchased. However if your guild cannot venture into ulduar then they are good choices.

You need to get those things from Ulduar droped first of all. And better to be in all Epic gear before getting to Ulduar... It is still an impressive Instance were you need more top performance.
My suggestions are:
[Mirror of Truth]
[Pendant of the Outcast Hero]

Thanks once again for the suggestions, I think I have 25 heroism on me now, so I'll probably log in and grab the neck tonight. Not sure what else I can get with valors so I might convert my valors for the next little while in heroisms along with my heroic runs to get the Mirror of Truth ASAP.

I wouldn't convert badges personally. I'd just put in an effort to run more 5-10 mans to get the heroism you want. Another good item from valor is the idol. And if all else fails the boe's still sell OK. But maybe that's just me not wanting to lose out on higher gold value that valor has vs heroism when heroism are so easy to get. Both badge types quickly lose personal value in items once you get the 2-3 things you want from them.

I'm trying to figure out the best Ulduar item to buy in the AH. I spend most of my time in bear with a mixture of bear/cat in raids . I'm thinking about either the
[Proto-hide Leggings]
or the
[Signet of Winter]
. Legs would replace
[Chain Gang Legguards]
for both cat and bear (which is why I'm leaning towards them) and ring would replace
[Ring of Earthen Might]
.
I only raid 10 man and haven't stepped foot into Ulduar yet so either one of these will be a big upgrade. Just trying to figure out what would be best to buy first.

Well, take what ever drops first. The signet of winter is BoE so you might be able to buy it on the AH. But parry gives you nothing. I would focus on some Naxx gear first.

Here's my armory sheet. The issues I'm having are..being this far below hit cap. Is this ok? I am, for the most part, top dps in my raids, which isn't really the benchmark I want to go by. Also, I've been reading that the shred idol scales better with ArP than does Rip idol, BUT I have found that since I am such a far amount below hit cap, the shred idol is far inferior to Rip idol. I tested on dummies for about an hour last night, and that is what I found. With my current gear/spec I do about 4200 dps on a test dummy. Is that ok? Or what, if anything, can help me out? Thanks!

Quick and hopefully easy question:
Which Meta is best for kitty DPS? The +21 agi/3% mroe crit dmg or the +42 AP minor run speed increase?

[Relentless Earthsiege Diamond]
, by far. For 1 thing we already have +30% run speed through Feral Swiftness, which I believe does not stack with the meta or boot enchant. Secondly, 21 agi is much better than 42 AP. Thirdly, 3% crit damage is extremely powerful. There is nothing to consider, go with Relentless Earthsiege.
