Inscription and herb if you are like me and have herb and skinning now.

I should really start buying low level herbs or start farming them soon to help level up inscription fast when the patch comes out.

Bah, just go to a starter area, and get the herbs there. they're so close together. I was able to get all the herbs needed to get to lvl 150 inscription in about 1 hour, and there are several guides already that show you how many you need to get to level it up, example: http://www.wow-professions.com/wowguides/wow-inscription-guide.html

Thanks for the link.

With all the limited play time due to wife aggro , I can't see myself spending it farming westfall for herbs. the high level herbs on in a bank already.

I'm confused; why do Leatherworkers get +90 stamina and Enchanters get +48?

Yes, LW has a greater bonus to Feral Druids than Enchanting, but it is not so for every class/specc. With the new bonuses from tradeskills Blizzard has made it more suitable for some class/spec combos to pick up certain tradeskills/gathering skills.

Enchanting probably much more suitable for casters than LW is.

All in all i agree with this logic, but there are some skill-bonuses that boggle me. For example, the extra gem slots from Blacksmithing can be really good in the hands of casters. Having a clothy with inventory full of plate gear from leveling their Blacksmithing seems weird to me.

Yeah, but if you really want the juice you're an alchemist jewelcrafter.

I really wish they'd think about this a bit and make it less specialized.  Last thing I want to be is one of the dozen leatherworkers in my guild... And then choose another production craft just to twink out.

I agree, for players that want to go for the MAX this is probably not a good change. Than again its been like this for a long time. Some classes just work better with some Tradeskills and some tradeskills offer bigger bonuses than others.
I'm not sure what skill combination is the king right now, but im pretty sure the armor sets you get from LW dont scale up to the sets provided by tailoring. Maybe right now the "MAX" trade-combo would be enchanting and jewlcrafting? Now they are just making it so every tradeskill has a bonus, some are greater right now, but im sure they will equal out as the game progresses.

My Druid is currently Mining/Engineering and I'm very happy with the passive bonus to mining and am almost definitely going to keep it.
I really like the idea that it's a decent tanking bonus that I don't have to 'pay for' - Eg with enchanting not only is it expensive to level you have to re-enchant every time you get new rings. Same with a lot of these other new profession bonuses, you will have to re-apply the item enhancement each time you upgrade gear.

Waiting to look over what engineering can offer me but I'll probably drop it and pick up Leatherworking if that bracer enchant stays so far ahead of the other Tanking bracer enchant options.

Let me point out that you can cast this heal while in bear form.  And it does not switch you out into caster form.

It really should be included in the MT list.

In fact, if you use it at the same time as Frenzied Regen, it gets the boost from the healing bonus.

Note: Frenzied Regen only grants a healing bonus if you have the Glyph, if I remember right.

My current glyphs: Major--Rake, Maul. Minor--Thorns, Dash, Unburdened Rebirth.

I made this one a sticky and added Skinning to the list of bonuses.
